We Are All Children

Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts.

Y'all! This is our FIRST listener submitted topic! I am so excited to take a deep look into intergenerational patterns of behavior and the ways that we can heal trauma in ourselves through naming our truth and setting healthy boundaries. This episode contains a guided imagery script for healing the child within and an exploration of Cognitive Behavioral approaches to challenging the "shoulds" and "ought tos" that keep up stuck in old patterns.

The working title of this episode was "Take care of your shit, but only your shit"; meaning it's important to look at where one's responsibility begins and ends.

I am also delighted to share a full-length meditation practice - a lovingkindness practices for the parents and the children. I hope you'll find it restorative, healing, and helpful.

Shoutouts in this episode include Dr. Nicole LePera and Sharon Salzberg!
