Healing Shame (with Sarah Betz, LCSW)

Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts!

This episode goes all the way deep and we are so grateful for Sarah’s time with us on this episode!

The topic of the day is “shame”, a particularly challenging topic for many folks. Sarah and Courtney connect over shared vulnerability and in the ways shame has shown up in their lives, in their bodies, and in their work.

Sarah guides listeners through an exploration of shame as a visceral response, as well as the connections between shame, guilt, isolation, connection, self-compassion, forgiveness, and self-acceptance.

Through this conversation, listeners are invited and empowered to change their personal relationship with shame, and embrace a sense of self-worth in order to heal.
