Empathy As a Super Power (with Michael Sgro, CPBC)
Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts!
We are thrilled to launch Season 2 with this most special guest! Courtney and Mike go way back, all the way back to Fordham University in the Bronx in the late 90s. In this conversation they reflect not only on the ways their paths have continued to intersect and run alongside each other, but also all the ways those early professional experiences have informed the work they do today.
Coach Sgro's work is centered in understandings of empathy and emotional intelligence. He and Courtney discuss the connections between these ideas, kindness, social connection, and self-compassion. There are lots of laughs and opportunity to reminisce, as well!
