pragmatic spirit meditation - the mindfulness side of the solavis house - is taking the rest of the summer off!
Pre-COVID we were a small but mighty in person group meditation practice in New Paltz. Since COVID we’ve been meeting weekly online. It has been a balm and a lovely source of consistency through the last year and a half. I am grateful for everyone that participated in our group practice - whether it was once, twice, or every.single.week.
Pre-COVID I had a vision to grow this group, both in membership and in offerings. Since COVID it has been all about keeping the group afloat. This feels like the right moment to move away from simply sustaining the group and move in the direction of that growth.
We’ll be taking the next few weeks off from group practice so that I can focus time and attention on the following goals:
developing a consistent curriculum to shape and enhance our group practice
creating a deck of mindfulness cards; designed to inspire and support your independent practice
authoring and publishing a daily mindfulness journal and meditation practice log for those of us who enjoy (and/or rely on) tools of accountability
launching (finally!!) the pragmatic spirit meditation podcast; a twice monthly resource for meditators of all levels where we will discuss how you achieve mindful wellbeing in every day life through the consistent practice and study of meditation. This format will also be the new home of the popular Two Minute Meditation offerings.
I cannot wait to share these gifts with you! Stay tuned for all good things ahead!
