Love and (re)Marriage

Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts!

Have you ever wondered about life after divorce - about how someone learns to trust again, unlearn unhelpful patterns, and enter into a new love? Have you experienced this yourself?

We are welcoming our most special guest! In this episode, Courtney shares the mic with her husband, Brian, to discuss their origin story and the ways they've drawn on their early history to overcome current marital obstacles. They each share their recollections of initially getting together, their individual and shared challenges of transitioning from their first lives into their current life together, and the strengths they share as a couple.

After 7 years together, and celebrating four married, Courtney and Brian offer a frank and genuine view into the unlearning that follows divorce and the relearning that accompanies remarriage. Drawing on vulnerability, partnership, and humor, they explore the ways they've learned to face crisis and adversity as they navigate the demands of dating and blending families as adults and parents.

In the spirit of Pragmatic Alchemy, Courtney highlights a helpful point or two that listeners may incorporate into their own relationships of all types!
